Research Interests

The focus of my research is the air-sea exchange of heat and greenhouse gases and the processes in the oceanic and atmospheric near surface layer that influence transport across the air-sea interface. This area of research is fundamental to the understanding of how the ocean and atmosphere, as a coupled system, affects and is affected by climate and environmental change. Research methods are largely observational, which include the development of novel instrumentation for making unique measurements.
